| ¿Is
there an entry fee?
Yes,
there is an entry fee of 5 . This also includes a free drink
from the bar.
¿Do
I have to wear underwear?
Cellar
is a strict dresscode bar of underwear, jockstrap or naked. If you
choose not to wear underwear on any night of the week, that´s
fine with us.
¿I
wear rubber / leather. Can I bring these to wear?
Items
such as rubber or leather underwear are acceptable on underwear
nights. Chaps and waistcoats are ok on naked nights, (with no
underwear). Harnesses and other leather or rubber items are welcome.
Please respect the decision of the staff as to what is acceptable
clothing.
¿Can
I bring ´toys´?
Dildos,
butt-plugs, bondage gear, spanking items etc are all fine. Teddy
bears, lego and Barbie dolls are ok to play with on the terrace, but
should you really be coming to The Cellar if you want to play with
these?
¿Where
do I put my clothes?
We
provide bags for you to put your clothes and valuables in from 11pm
onwards. These should be taken to the member of staff at the door
who will give your bag a number and also attach a numbered band to
your wrist.
¿Do
I have to carry money?
There
is no real need to carry cash unless you wish to. You can use the
number on your wristband to bill your drinks throughout the evening.
When you order a drink, the barman will ask to see the number on
your band and mark down the price of the drink. When you choose to
leave, staff will remove the band and give you your total bill.
¿Are
my clothes and valuables safe?
Once
you have given your bag to the doorman, it is put in a storeroom to
which only staff have access. Remember that wherever you go in the
Yumbo, it is safer not to carry large quantities of cash or valuable
items, (such as phones, cameras or credit cards) with you. Cellar
does all it can to protect your valuables, but we cannot take
responsibility for items lost or stolen whilst in your possession.
¿Can
I have sex in the bar?
It
is permissible to have sex in the bar and in the playroom, and many
do. If you fail to have sex whilst at Cellar, please see a member of
staff who may be able to help!
¿Are
prostitutes available in the bar?
Whilst
Cellar does not condemn sex work, both prostitution and soliciting
for sex are strictly forbidden. This applies to the bar, the terrace
and adjoining areas. Any person found to be engaged in prostitution
or soliciting for sex will be asked to leave.
¿What
sort of music do you play?
Cellar
is a hard, mens cruising bar and we think the music played adds to
that atmosphere. We mainly play harder, non-commercial dance music
by a variety of DJ´s. Requests for Kylie or Steps will be
politely refused!
¿Do
I have to be in underwear?
On
any night of the week it is permissible to go naked after 11pm if
you so choose, as many do. However, remember that it is compulsory
to wear footwear at all times.
¿Are
condoms and lubricant available?
It
is always wise to carry condoms and lubricant with you if you are
planning to have sex. However, if you haven´t bought these with
you, they are available. Just ask the barman.
¿Are
there facilities for watersports?
Scuba
diving is not really practical at Cellar, but if you want to get
pissed on or piss on somebody, we have a large toilet area for those
special, wet moments.
¿Do
you have a sling?
A
large area, with a comfortable sling is available in the playroom
for your enjoyment. Please respect the fact that other customers may
wish to use the sling if you are not occupied.
¿Do
you have private cabins?
The
playroom has 2 private cabins, (one with a St. Andrew´s cross
and one with a suspension bar). Both are large rooms and can be
locked. The playroom also has one public cabin with a bed, as well
as the sling area and a large darkroom.
¿What
happens if someone is bothering me?
If
someone is bothering you, a simple and polite NO will
suffice in any language. If you are being seriously harassed, please
speak to a member of staff. Our experience is that customers who
visit Cellar are very respectful of each other and harassment is
very rare.
¿Why
do you have an entry fee? Other bars
don´t.
Cellar
is a specialist, naked / underwear bar and an entry fee dissuades
those who may want to visit just for a quick drink. We do not charge
high prices for our drinks and people who visit Cellar tend to drink
less. Remember that the entry fee also includes a ticket for one
free drink from the bar.
¿How
do I pay for drinks?
The
numbered band which the doorman attaches to your wrist can be used
to bill your drinks. When you order a drink, the barman will ask to
see your number and mark down the cost of the drink. When you leave,
a member of staff will remove the band and give you your total bill.
You can ask to check your bill at any time throughout the evening. A
price list of drinks is displayed by the bar.
¿Can
I take photos in the bar?
The
use of any type of camera, (including mobile phone cameras), is
strictly forbidden at The Cellar. We respect the privacy of
customers visiting our bar and expect our customers to do the same.
Similarly, the carrying and use of mobile phones is not permitted.
¿How
is the weather
next week / next month?
The
most popular email question. If we could predict this, we´d be
millionaires. Check out the IKS
LIVECAM for information on the weather in Gran Canaria.
¿How
can I contact you?
We
always like to hear from customers who are intending to visit and
those who have been to the bar. You can contact us by clicking the
contact button at the top of the page. You can also send us a
message using the guestbook. We welcome hearing about what you
thought of the bar. |
